Another beautiful wedding we got to photograph in Pretoria.
There are a couple of venues that you know whenever you are there you will definitely have some magic happen during the day, and on Saturday it was no different at all. When we arrived at the beautiful Diamond Hill Wedding and Country venue the long golden grass had to make way for the new season and with the burnt down grass there was quite a strong breeze cooling us down from the early summer sun.
So with the girls getting ready in the honeymoon suite enjoying the last couple of minutes together one could sense that the air is slowly getting thicker as the nerves started to tell Lauren that soon she will be walking towards the man she dreamt of spending eternity with. All the other girls were so super excited that it helped Lauren absorb what is happening and ponder a while in this magic moment.
As the last little adjustments were made to the table decorations and the table placements were put in place the men had their time shining in the sun.
It was a matter of ducking the towels passing the ties and putting on the pins in the wink of an eye we were outside having fun with all the guys. Yes it was a hot day in the suit for Johan but he too could not wait to stand in front and watch his dream come true.
The chapel was full of family and friends all wondering and waiting and the magic happened for our young and in love couple as Lauren opened the door, the smile the tear and the relief was just a sweet reminder of why this is magical.
The special part of the ceremony was when they read their vo ws to each other, the deep feelings and emotions they share is just perfect.
Speaking of magic we were so blessed with a gorgeous sunset and very little breeze to speak about when capturing the lovely romantic photos.
It is always very special to do wedding photography at Diamond Hill and this time was no different, compliments to the chef and staff for a very special day.
Johan and Lauren we want to wish you many days of love joy and laughter together on your journey.
