Meet Marius and Mareli.
This is our first wedding for the new wedding season that is about to officially start, this is quiet couple with loads of friends, but before we get to that part of the story let us start at the beginning of the day.
Driving to the venue – Chez Charlene – one is reminded of the winter coat that is still with us as almost everything is leafless and covered in various shades of pale brown, but all of this is soon bearable when you go through the gates of this equestrian estate and wedding venue …………………………………… you get a feeling of calmness when passing the horses and then you have in front of you what seem like an oasis in the desert the venue with its lush trees and gardens.
Marius and the guys spent some time chilling in the restaurant before we started with the detail shots, this of course did not take a lot of time and then we got right into the nice stuff of portrait and action shots, at first Marius took a few minutes and then it was smooth sailing from there.
With Mareli and the girls it seemed there were also some nerves that needed to be calmed but that was not a big challenge and with mom and the rest there they were having a great time in no time.
Being officially still winter we were blessed with bright blue skies and an awesome sunset, it is such a privilege to capture those very special moments in time all thrown together with the beautiful painting of the heavens, that is what we love most.
What a lovely wedding venue ………………………………….. that offers equestrian and bushveld all in one setting. I have to make a special mention of two very important elements on the day, the first is for the kitchen that delivered the most awesome dinner and an even more perfect pudding, well done, and secondly the live band had old and young singing along to the great tunes they performed.
Thank you for making us part of your special day.
