I often get asked, whether I like what I do – and that is photographing people. And my answer is always the same “No, I LOVE what I do’.
I love working with people in love. Love Love, does that make sense? Does to me!
What is more beautiful than 2 people in love, getting ready to spend the rest of their days together? That promise of eternal love. Or a beautiful woman expecting a baby, the looks between her and hubby knowing that they have created a miracle, or that tender love between mom and baby when baby has arrived. So my friendships usually start with the getting married, and 10 years later I am still part of the family
So when I first met Monique and Andre, I was not disappointed at all, they were (or shall is say is in Love.). Doing their engagement session at the Pretoria National Botanical gardens, it was very obvious that they are not only in love but that they also love one another. As a photographer you get to know the difference between the two when working so often with people.
Doing an e-session before the wedding day is a great idea.
We get to meet each other, learn about what makes you tick and do some work before the big day. So when we arrive on your wedding day, you know what to expect – and so do we.
And since we are with you 90% of your day, it is always easier and more relaxing to spend this time with someone you “know” than a complete stranger.
We are photographing their wedding in September at Green Leaves in Hartbeespoort in the North West Region. Just as all the grass turns light green, the trees will be dressed in their spring colours, and that familiar smell of freshly cut lavender, can’t wait.
They have chosen the stunning Tuscan venue that overlooks the Magaliesberg on one side and the Hartbeespoort dam on the other for their wedding day.
