When I saw baby Matthew for the first time I thought he was only a couple of days old, not for one moment had I thought that he could be 3 weeks old (new) already.
Baby Matthew did not have an easy birth and mom said that he was hurt when they took him out.
He had a lung infection and had to be born by c-section a couple of weeks early, and they took almost 3 minutes to take him out. A baby is usually ‘born’ within 16 seconds with a c-section. Listening to their story it is clear that this is their miracle baby!
Ohh I so enjoyed having him in the studio, since he was still so new and premature, I could still do so many of the newborn poses, and it suited him like a charm .
One only realise how tiny he is, if you look at the photo where he is laying on the nappies, and compare that to some of the other babies that came to the studio, for most of them at a week or two the nappies is to small already.
Being so small did not faze mom or dad, and it is so cute to see how dad handles this small bundle of joy with the greatest of ease. Even though Matthew is still very small, he does through his weight around, and by that I mean he got Dad all wrapped up around his tiny little finger already. But then again who can resist such a handsome miracle.
Doing baby photography is my all time favorite,(ok I say that about maternity, family and wedding photography- ….I really enjoy my work) but taking photos of miracles like baby Matthew makes it more than worth it.
