When you think about a Golf Estate the first thing that jumps to your mind is huge mansions and luxury German sedans in the driveways.                                     Euphoria Golf Estate and Wedding Venue in the Limpopo Province will be exactly that in a few years but we were fortunate that this unspoilt beauty was the setting for Claire and Chrisoff’s wedding.

This venue steals your heart the moment you turn off the main road, two lovely dams right at the entrance gate, golden grass in the setting sun, birdlife almost everywhere and only a few dwellings enjoying all of this.

You have the traditional offering of a Wedding in one of the reception halls or you have the excitement and daring of a wedding out on one of the fairways under this huge tree as we enjoyed with these two lovely people. Euphoria Golf Estate and Wedding Venue also have a cable car on offer taking you all the way up the mountain, and this is where the guests got treated to a cocktail hour before returning to the reception.

Claire had an idea or two up her sleeve as well, she had this rosy white and red boots to add that twist and other dimension as most brides forget that having your photos done in the bush requires walking in the bush- Good for you Claire.

Christoff  is one of those dudes that almost every young boys dreams of becoming, a pilot. Not only does he have an awesome job but also the woman of his dreams to share it with. Christoff also had a lot of support from his friends the whole day, and I could see why he is so popular, a great sense of humour and caring is only a few to describe him.

Traveling from Jhb there was a distinct temperature difference (at first) when we left  Jhb. The cold front moved in from Cape Town the previous evening, on  arrival in Blythdale at the North Coast it was still hot, and the promise of a beautiful day was in the air.  But by the end of the wedding ceremony at 5pm, the beach was a very cold place (and windy) to be on. But I am starting at the end and not the beginning.

Tracey booked us a few months ago, but we only met about a month ago to do their e-session.  Stunning couple, hates to be in front of the camera, but the camera loves them

Tracey always wanted a beach wedding and being from Johannesburg much of her time was spend searching for the perfect venue. They chose the lovely venue – Palm Dune beach resort  for their wedding ceremony and function.

We have been there a couple of times and every time we experience different weather, from full sun and no breeze to windy and cold and not to mention the drizzle days.

I found out that Tracey is somewhat of a “celebrity” come the speech from her now husband. With many medals (and titles) behind her name, for winning the Duzi , iron women, etc

You two make a really good team , keep the love and passion you share .

When I first met with Madrie and Willie, they just returned from Bridal a fair ( or two).  And nothing was quite finalized.  And after seeing so many interesting and beautiful things at the fair, Madrie rethinked her whole day.  The end result was stunning.  Red and white {the colours of Love} decorated their day. The table arrangements was something different with stunning arrangements made from King Proteas and dark red roses.

The Estuary is known for giving fairytale weddings to their brides, and this wedding was no different.  Everyone did their part to make the bridal couples’ wedding day unforgettable.

When Madrie arrived at the bottom of the villas to meet her waiting groom at the end of the red rose petals, I thought Willie was going to faint.   He had to take a few {extra} deep breaths when Madrie set foot on the beach, one reason was his nerves and the second reason was the major factor.  His bride looked stunning!

But all was not just good for poor Willie.

The boys really gave him a hard time when he had to do his speech,  it was all in good will.

The Estuary’s food was scrumptious as always, and the cherry on top was the cake…

This was one of those weddings where guests came from all over SA to enjoy this special day with the couple and really had fun till the late hours of the night (early morning)

Ons twylfel nie een oombllik dat julle nog donkie jare in mekaar se oë gaan lag nie.

Just their luck it rained, but we got to chat and had a quick e-session in our garden.

Now I am busy sorting their wedding photos {which I will share soon} and am finding hard to choose favourites as we took almost 4000 photos.

We were lucky to have a stunning sunny day, after days of rain this was quite a blessing.

Jaco and Mercia is “the” couple, they are the perfect match, and after spending time with them,  I got the feeling that their relationship is full of love, laughter and emotion.
