But enough shop talk, let me introduce you to one of our fun couples who’s wedding we will photograph in February at Avianto pristine Wedding Venue in Gauteng – Muldersdrift area.

Luzanne and Benjamin visited the studio last year in November.
They were duly prepared for their engagement session. They had heiluim balloons, paint, brushes etc. And lots of attitude (in a good way). To get spontaneous fun images a couple has to be prepared to go the extra mile. Sometimes a photographer might ask you to do something silly, but that is not the image, it is what happen after that we capture. One of my mentors – Jasmin Star – call that the “in between”.  In my studio and even outside working with brides or the bride and groom, I don’t pose, I direct.  What you make of that will either make or break the image.

Anyway getting back to our lovely couple, the one thing that is very important to them is LOVE, and that is also the theme of their wedding, LOVE.  Very appropriate I think.

We are using this session to compile a e-session Coffee Table Album, something they can treasure for ever. As soon as they approve the design I will load the completed album and maybe some more of their studio session.

Looking back at the fun we had at the studio session, I can’t wait for their wedding.  They are game for anything, and so are we. Look out for their wedding post.  Judging by their e-session photos, you can expect FUN!

Well they tied the knot at Green Leaves and are now officially Mr and Mrs Smit

Their wedding day was blessed with clear skies and sun.  The perfect wedding day.

Looking at the reception you will notice all the hard work.  Many hours of beading etc, but like they say weddings bring families together.

The bridesmaids dresses were simply awesome, and the lady that made them really did a good job.  Just between us, the bridesmaid dresses consisted of more than 6 meters of material.

The guys looked very {handsome} in their outfits.

We were lucky to have a stunning sunny day, after days of rain this was quite a blessing.

Jaco and Mercia is “the” couple, they are the perfect match, and after spending time with them,  I got the feeling that their relationship is full of love, laughter and emotion.

Sarah and Jason renewd their vows here in South Africa with their families after five years of marriage in the United Kingdom. It really was a pleasure working with the two of you, even though we did not get to meet before the occasion. Sarah you were a gorgeous bride, a beatifull dress to compliment your beauty. It is always a pleasure working with couples who are willing to do almost anything, and in this case you we want to thank you for being so spontaneous and full of fun. The venue ( The Boat House ) added to the special event, one could sense for miles that this was a intimate event. Wishing that we could get a frame with you and the passing whale shark, but we can’t always have it all………

We want to wish you all the best for your future, and a BIG cogratulations with the announcement of your family to be extended. . . . .

On Saturday 1^st November we had the privilege of sharing the very special wedding of Juan and Sally at a stunning venue ( Crowhurst Manor ). Even though the weather was not to kind to us, we did manage to get some great shots. Wow what a laid back couple, from our first meeting, Juan you were so cool and calm it was as if nothing in this world could get on your nerves. Sally it was great working with you, and I can see why you could not wait to get the proceedings underway, you and  Juan make a very special team, and  it showed  all the way from the first photos to the reception. We wish the two of you best of luck on your journey of discovery.

The weather was not to great, but it did not keep Teniel and Jonathan from having a ball.
