Melissa en George se venue vir hul spesiale dag was Woodlands Game Lodge, net buite pretoria. Dit was ons eerste troue daar, en ons was baie beindruk met die venue.
Melissa en George is van Cullinan omgewing. Melissa het pas haar studies voltooi en George is ‘n Boer, en defnitief nie ‘n man vir baie praat of voor die kamera paradeer nie.
Maar met ‘n bruid wat so mooi lyk, kon hy nie anders om die fotosessie te geniet nie. ‘n Uur is lank, maar as jy verlief is vlieg die tyd.

Die hemelruim het bly {belowe} maar ons was gelukkig genoeg om die reën te mis tydens die romantiese foto sessie.

Second post for 2012…

Teresa contacted me when she was still in the Uk and we arranged most of her day via e-mail.

Teresa and Romeo decided on the romantic setting of Diep in die Berg in Pretoria, and all was set up so beautifully to create a magical wonderland

for their wedding day. A whee bit different then the previous day’s traditional ceremony they had, this was a bit different for a girl from the UK, but

she was all smiles about it, and enjoyed the experience.

This is my first post for 2012! Gosh, what a year. We were blessed in 2011 with stunning couples, babies and families, and with my cameras resetting past the 150K mark almost every 2 months, we took TONS of images.

2012 promises to be Amazing and we are extremely exited to share this journey with you!

But back to the past, November and December we had so many studio sessions that I had no time to update, my blog, Facebook nor twitter, and therefor not only did I not blog studio work, i also could not get to upload any of our December weddings.

So here goes:

Cami contacted me the 5 days prior to her wedding! They planned their wedding in less than 2 weeks!

Arriving at Toadbury Hall it was softly raining and by the end of the ceremony – which was held in the Toadbury Forest, we worked for almost an hour in the
rain. Thumbs up to this stunning couple, No amount of rain could but a damper on their spirit and we had an awesome shoot.

Jacques and Maryke at The Royal Elephant in Centurion

People always talk about “how small this world is” and in the strangest place your path will cross with a familiar face, and this is exactly what happened to us.
When we met with Maryke and Jacques a few weeks ago for their E-session , Maryke looked extremely familiar to George, and then he realised that they went to the same primary and secondary school. -{“Small World }
Maryke and Jacques one of those couples that “just work”, they fit! These two are a unit that shares absolutely everything and live for each other. {And they are sooooooo in LUV}
We had a great time shooting their romantic photos. Doing their romantic shoot before the wedding it was a very hot thirty plus degrees outside in Gauteng, but even the heat could not get to this couple. They had their ceremony and reception at the Royal Elephant Wedding and Conference venue in Eldoraigne Centurion.
Were friends and family from all over joined in their happiness, even Aggie from Sewende Laan was there .

For some when you talk about a destination wedding they just see places like Mozambique or the Seychelles and all you can think about, but what happens when you actually live in paradise on an Island halfway around the globe? You have a destination wedding right here in Sunny South Africa with all your Family and friends, friends who almost all of them also travelled to join up with the party.
Marco and Nadine is an adventurous couple who enjoy diving and golf and cycling anything with fresh air or adrenaline.
When I met up with Marco at the game farm where he got dressed I could see that this young man had more than enough support, as one of four brothers you would think it is survival of the toughest but here it was just the opposite, even though there is the normal brotherly teasing they absolutely live for each other.
Girls will be girls will be girls, as we are used to by now when meeting up with the girls it is just busy busy busy and chirping, when you have a mom and sisters around and some friends you will never be short of words of encouragement and well wishes. You gotta love this job. . . . .
The whole wedding took place on a farm of a close friend of the family, for those who read the short version prior to this one I have to emphasize it again.
Hierdie was een van daardie storieboek boere troues waarvan jy net gewoonlik lees of hoor en altyd se wens ek was daar, wel ons was en dit was great. Dit is asof die een meer wil doen as die ander om te help, almal wil net gou iets bring of aanry, as ons nie rondgry word om die plaas te besigtig nie word daar spesiale stoele vir ons aangery net om seker te maak die bruidspaar kry als waaroor hulle gedroom het vir hierdie dag. Thabazimbi julle gasvryheid kan nie in woorde beskryf word nie, dankie vir die spesiale warm gevoel.

Marius and Michelle at Zakopane Country Wedding Village

Michelle and Marius decided on Zakopane Country Village for their wedding ceremony and wedding function. This is quite a newish wedding in the wedding industry, and was a breath of fresh air to work there for a change.
So even though the week before the wedding had as a bit worried with icy cold winds, the couple were blessed with amazing weather, with lots of sun to
celebrate this happy day with them.

When I met Michelle for the first time,she was planning their wedding all by herself. Marius popped the question and then had to go overseas for a couple of months, leaving most of the big decisions on her. Michelle did an awesome job, with so many friends and family contributing to their special day, their wedding day was one to remember.

Marius and Michelle met at church or that is where it started, and looking at them together once can see they have their priorities together.

Michelle and Marius had one request, they did not want their guests waiting, and opted for a romantic “first look”.

They way we plan an bring it together it is a truly emotional experience, and neither bride or groom would ever (or have ever) regret it, and these two were
the same.

Maruis’s dad started the evening with a fun game – one that wil keep the guest talking for long…, and then it was time for speaches and all the other wedding
formalities, and by 9pm EVERYONE was on the dance floor. This was amazing, their guests were there to enjoy the evening and to make it as special as possible for these two before they left for their secret honeymoon.
