LOVE, HAPPINESS, JOY {and I cannot justify them without putting it in capital letters)} that is how I would remember Willie and Madrie’s wedding day at The Estuary Hotel (Wedding and Conference centre) in Port Edward Kzn. A couple that couldn’t stop smiling from the time we arrived till late that night when we packed up, it was just smile upon smile. And I mean big overwhelming happy smiles.
When I first met with Madrie and Willie, they just returned from Bridal a fair ( or two). And nothing was quite finalized. And after seeing so many interesting and beautiful things at the fair, Madrie rethinked her whole day. The end result was stunning. Red and white {the colours of Love} decorated their day. The table arrangements was something different with stunning arrangements made from King Proteas and dark red roses.
The Estuary is known for giving fairytale weddings to their brides, and this wedding was no different. Everyone did their part to make the bridal couples’ wedding day unforgettable.
When Madrie arrived at the bottom of the villas to meet her waiting groom at the end of the red rose petals, I thought Willie was going to faint. He had to take a few {extra} deep breaths when Madrie set foot on the beach, one reason was his nerves and the second reason was the major factor. His bride looked stunning!
But all was not just good for poor Willie.
The boys really gave him a hard time when he had to do his speech, it was all in good will.
The Estuary’s food was scrumptious as always, and the cherry on top was the cake…
This was one of those weddings where guests came from all over SA to enjoy this special day with the couple and really had fun till the late hours of the night (early morning)
