Frans & Michelle – riverside castle wedding photos

riverside castle wedding photos

It was a very hot and humid Saturday, almost felt as if we were in Kwazulu Natal but no we were right here in good old Pretoria, and so was Frans and Michelle who felt the heat even more than the rest, they were on their way to join two families as one.

The backdrop they chose for their special day is the mountain range just off Lynnwood road and the venue of choice was the lovely Riverside Castle.

The girls got dressed at Oudehout Mountain Lodge which is a venue for the connoisseur of old wooden décor and outdoor adventure, by this I mean you will have a great time at any of the overnight accommodation sites, outdoor showers and spa baths with a view of the mountain and game on the farm.

The theme for this wedding was black and white polka dot, and the girls all looked fabulous in their variations of the theme. Michelle your dress suited you very well, you looked real good.

The boys got dressed only about 5 km from the girls  which itself is a very nice venue, this one actually overlooks the wedding venue Riverside Castle, and this we learnt while taking some of the group shots with the boys.

It was a very room, imagine Groom, two dads and six yes six best men all using the same shower, took some planning.

As with every wedding this one had its own battles to fight, the very very long Limmo could not make its turn to deliver the girls in front of the church so they had to walk the last 50 meters, but all good.

This venue is a real dream to photograph, it offers you something of everything if you are looking for a castle like feeling combined with the open veldt.

We wish you lots of good luck in your journey as a couple

Love George and Jenna
