Your maternity session begins with a simple chat. All my shoots take place in my Pretoria studio. We’ll talk about the look you love, the gowns you’re drawn to,
The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 24–34 weeks — when your bump is beautifully round, but you’re still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease.
Once we’ve chatted through the details, I’ll help you choose the best date within that window and get you officially booked in.

Once your date is booked, we’ll start planning the details. We’ll talk through colours, styling, and any sentimental items you’d like to include. You’ll receive a short prep guide to help you feel beautifully prepared, and I’ll make sure your session flows perfectly with your pregnancy needs.
Schedule your session
step two:
You’ll have access to a curated collection of gowns, fabrics, and accessories in my Pretoria studio — chosen specifically to flatter every bump and body type. You’re welcome to ask anything: what to wear, what your partner should wear, and whether your other children should join. I’m here to make sure you feel confident and supported.

On the day of your session, everything is guided and relaxed.

You’ll choose your digital collection and have the option to add albums, framed wall art, or keepsake prints. Everything is handled online so there’s no need to travel back to the studio — simple, seamless, and meaningful.

A: I recommend photographing your maternity session between 24–34 weeks. This is the perfect window — your bump is beautifully round, you still feel comfortable, and posing is much easier. If you’re already further along, don’t worry; reach out, and I’ll do my best to fit you in.
Q: Do you only offer studio maternity sessions?
A: Yes — all maternity sessions take place in my Waverley, Pretoria studio. This allows me to control the lighting, temperature, poses, and overall experience so you always look your best. No outdoor shoots are required (or necessary!) for gorgeous results.
Q: What should I wear? Do you provide outfits?
A: Absolutely. You’ll have full access to my curated client wardrobe, which includes flattering maternity gowns, fabrics, and pieces that photograph beautifully. You’re welcome to bring your own outfit too — we can mix and match to suit your style.
Q: Do you help with posing? I feel awkward in front of the camera.
Absolutely. Posing is my superpower. I guide you through angles, hands, expression, and posture to create flattering, feminine images you’ll truly love. You never have to worry about “what to do” — I guide everything.
And don’t worry about your partner either. Most dads arrive camera-shy, stiff, or convinced they “hate photos”… and every one of them leaves surprised at how easy and relaxed the session felt. I keep things simple, natural, and comfortable — even the most reluctant dads end up enjoying the experience and loving the photos.
