Basala first birthday cake smash photos

Less than a year ago, I met this lovely family for the first time. When Basala was just a few days old, and we were doing a newborn photoshoot. 

This time around, they came by for Basala’s cake smash photoshoot.

Now how cute is this girly pink, mint and white set up mom decided on? As always our baker did an amazing job with the cake for the photoshoot.

Basala was quick to explore her cake, and had no difficulty in getting dirty.

 

Even though this little missy is not big into smiles, she still enjoyed her photoshoot very much. She enjoyed tasting sugar (even thouhg it was a first for her).

 

As always we end the session with a nice warm bubble bath. The bubble intrigued her so much, we had a hard time getting her to look at the camera

Basala it was so lovely having you in my studio on your first birthday and I am so thankful that I got to be part of your first memories, hoping to share many more with you, and your family. Maybe a ice cream smash next year?
