One of the highlights of this session was capturing Malan not just on his own, but with his family. Mom and Dad both took photos with their newborn, and his proud big brother Ruben (age 4) joined in as well. These family portraits reflect the bond and love that surrounds a newborn in their first weeks.
Big brother Ruben’s interactions with Malan were particularly heartwarming. Children at this age are naturally curious, and it was lovely to see his excitement and gentle affection toward his baby brother.

Once Malan drifted into a deep sleep, we were able to create a variety of solo portraits. From swaddled setups to cozy prop poses, every detail was highlighted – tiny toes, delicate eyelashes, and peaceful expressions.
