first birthday cake smash and splash

Kaylynn visited the studio one week before her first birthday for some serious birthday cake-smash fun. This little girl is one of the happiest little girls I had the pleasure to work within a very long time. She was just a bundle of energy.

Mommy bought one of the cutest tutu sets I have seen in such a long time, but I don’t think she images how dirty it would be after the shoot, haha. These shoots are very – very messy, and Kaylynn was a total rock-star in smashing and she definitely understood what we expected from her, I think mom had a hard time getting it clean for her party.  But I would take great smiley smashing images any time compared to a little elbow grease. Or in this case, a lot of elbow grease and patience 🙂

Mommy decided on a pretty pink and gold princes theme and I had so much set this one up.

As always we end our session with a warm bubble bath. She had me on my toes while in the bath. Kaylynn was jumping and dancing and my nerves were done.

But I had so much fun having her here or actually I loved having the whole family here. We all had loads of fun, and I think they all took a very well deserved afternoon nap after this smashing session.
