Riano celebrating his first birthday.
He is the most beautiful blond, blue-eyed, always smiley little boy.
This is one of the happiest children I have ever met. He is always smiling, and it doesn’t take loads to get him laughing.
This was the last studio session of his first years “see me grow” studio photo shoots.
We had some family photos first, and some with him and his favourite stuffed animal toys – giraffes. He was cuddling with them, so cute.
and then gave him his giraffe cake for his first-year cake smash.
Boy oh boy, did he have fun? He was a bit more keen to eat than to just smash the cake, but he did very well and we got some great first birthday cake smash and splash photos
I enjoyed setting up his backdrop for his smash photos. Something different than just birthday set up with party balloons.
We wrapped the session up with a warm bubble bath splash session, and he enjoyed the bubbles quite a bit.
Mommy Samantha originally only booked for maternity and newborn photos, but after the baby photography session, she upgraded to the see me grow package.
And then I was set to see Riano every 3 months, perfect timing to capturing his growing milestones.
I love the milestone sessions, the first year is usually so overwhelming and if you are not set for appointments, people tend to think they will get to it, but in a blink, their baby turns one, and they missed the first year. With this program, I get to see them (usually)
Newborn
Then and three or four months – here I want to get them on their tummies lifting their heads – even if it is only for a couple of seconds.
Aix months – this is usually the best session
We want them to sit. We get them in the crawling positions and smiles, if we are lucky we get loads of smiles at this session, and we also see some personality.
Ending the first year with a beautiful Printed coffee table album, which I will share in another post.
