Recently, I had the joy of welcoming baby Manatsa Imani Rwodzi to the studio. Only weighing 2.75 kg, this little boy came in with his proud parents, Fulu and John, and his sweet big sister Shamiso (3.5 years old) for a newborn family photoshoot.
A Family Session Filled with Love
Family portraits are always a highlight during newborn sessions. Fulu and John were both excited to be part of the shoot, and Shamiso absolutely melted hearts as a big sister. The sibling poses were filled with snuggles, giggles, and those candid in-between moments that make for truly authentic memories.

Classic & Cozy Newborn Setups
For Manatsa’s solo portraits, we used a mix of neutral colour tones, soft wraps, and a few adorable props to keep the focus on his tiny features. These setups included:

- ? Sleepy wrapped pose with a bonnet
- ? Simple beanbag poses showing off his curled-up newborn shape
Each setup is carefully styled in our Waverley newborn studio to create a calm, warm and safe environment for both baby and parents. With over 17 years of experience, I work gently and patiently, allowing baby to guide the session.
